I am an energetic, bubbly, fun-loving, natural blonde with a very good sense of humour and an adventurous spirit. I'm generally quite easy going, but have been known to have some impish impulses, as do I love spontaneity & surprises.
I certainly feel younger at heart than I am in real life; I chose not to lie about my age tho, don't see the point really. I love to socialise, I used to be a p/t barmaid in niteclubs on top of my day job & I guess that part of me never left, but am not adverse to quiet nights in too.
I adore exploring the outdoors, regardless of the weather & love travelling. I've seen a fair bit of Europe over the years & love experiencing new cultures & like to try new things. I grew up sailing but haven't had a chance to indulge my passion since the arrival of my kids.
Music: I have to admit to always having music going in the background, no matter where I am, I do have a very diverse range of taste & can listen to most things, except opera, sorry. My favoured arena would be Rob Thomas, Chris Cornell, Daughtry, Meatloaf, Anastasia, Rhianna, Pink, Pixie Lott, Robbie Williams, Michael Buble, Justin Timberlake & Timbaland, along with some of the recent stuff. I love goin to the cinema, out for meals, or even just to a quiet country pub, but am quite capable of cooking a good meal & kicking back with a book or film at home, alone or with friends, as I love to entertain.
Since my children came along, I've gotten out of the habit of going out with friends & as happens, lost touch with a lot of them. Now that my children are in their teens & practically full grown, I want to rediscover life & laughter all over again.
I do spend too much time with my 6 Golden Labradors, lol, thus this attempt to reconstruct a social life at my daughter's request.
I want to be able to join a few friends for a quick drink/coffee or even a walk. Hopefully I'd like to meet people with a similar sense of humour,interests & values as me.
